Visitors to the Quartier Cavendish in Cote-St-Luc know that the popular mall continues to be a major contributor to the ever-growing Kosher dining experience in Montreal. Home to many Kosher dining options, including a full Kosher food court, the mall also has seen the introduction of Sfingy’s, an all-new bakery servicing the Montreal community, since 2018. The moment you step into the colorful environment of Sfingy’s, you are greeted by the creativity and attention-to-detail carefully created by the bakery’s innovative leaders. Sfingy’s is the ambitious creation of husband-and-wife duo Marvin and Maya Fuchs, and the two experienced catering experts hope that with this new Montreal offering, they can deliver a unique and unparalleled experience for each of their customers through their work.
Sfingy’s derives its name from a sfinge, a Moroccan style doughnut made from unsweetened, unleavened dough, a tribute to the originality and diversity of selection to be found at the bakery, including doughnut holes based off the sfinge style doughnuts. In addition, the team at Sfingy’s offers delicacies from croissants, waffles, muffins, cookies, crepes, smoothies, and more. The true icing-on-the-cake among this is that all of Sfingy’s delicious products are pareve and contain no milk ingredients or preservatives. The bakery has expanded to other alternatives to service each of its customers’ unique needs, including several vegan options available at their store.
The team behind Sfingy’s is always introducing new ideas to encourage their customers to return for new and seasonal offerings, including the initiative to expand their gluten-free and vegan options and their upcoming new selection of sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts) debuting just in time for the Chanukah season. Through their colorful, delicious options, Sfingy’s cares deeply about their many dedicated customers and is therefore always striving to add new offerings and evolve their selection of options. Sfingy’s is proud to have been a part of the Montreal community since their inception, playing an impact on events and parties across the island of Montreal with their proud ability to cater and deliver orders to fit any need.
Understanding the unique needs of the Montreal community, and seeing opportunities to innovate and showcase delicious new flavors and offerings, Sfingy’s provides Montrealers with a community bakery that is home to much creativity to inspire its customers to keep coming back for more.
Sfingy’s is located at 5800 Cavendish Blvd E-09, Côte Saint-Luc, Quebec H4W 2T5. For more information, contact the team at (514) 482-2992 or visit them at Sfingys.com.
