KOSHER ALERT – Benny & Fils
After ongoing and repeated issues relating to kosher processes and operational compliance at Benny et Fils, MK Kosher has decided to terminate its certification effective immediately.
This decision was not made lightly. Upon being made aware of the issues, MK immediately invested substantial time and effort working with the restaurant’s ownership in an attempt to resolve the concerns and maintain the establishment’s kosher status. Numerous meetings were held, practical solutions were proposed, and MK provided extensive support, including professional guidance, operational recommendations, and introductions to individuals and resources who could assist in bringing the restaurant into accordance with required standards.
Regrettably, despite these continued efforts, the owners consistently resisted the changes and oversight necessary to meet MK’s requirements. Repeated opportunities were provided to correct the deficiencies, however meaningful cooperation and compliance were ultimately not achieved.
MK Kosher remains firmly committed to upholding the integrity of kosher certification and preserving the confidence that the community places in its standards and supervision.
