MK Kosher wishes to inform the community that, effective immediately, Le Bassar Steakhouse is no longer under MK certification.
Over the past several months, Le Bassar has not settled outstanding fees owed to MK, which cover the salaries of our mashgichim. Throughout this time, MK continued to pay the mashgichim directly to ensure uninterrupted supervision and uphold our policy of maintaining the highest level of independent kosher integrity. Unfortunately, we can no longer absorb these costs.
Accordingly, MK Kosher has permanently withdrawn its certification for Le Bassar Steakhouse. We thank the community for its continued trust and understanding.
