Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld, well known Kashrus expert from the OK, met recently with members of the Vaad Harabanim. Rabbi Weinfeld is an expert especially in the field of checking bugs in fruits and vegetables.
Together with the Rabbanim of the JCC, they spent time checking many foods, sharing interesting techniques, advice and expertise. Rabbi Weinfeld then showed the Rabbanim the different methods he uses to check certain vegetables.
