Rabbi Saul Emanuel recently attended the prestigious Food Safety Summit in Chicago, with over 1700 registered food safety professionals, attendees and exhibitors.
The Food Safety Summit is a solution-based conference and expo designed to meet the educational and informational needs of the food industry including growers, processors, retailers, distributors, foodservice operators, regulators and academia.
Food safety professionals discussed the most pressing issues facing the food industry including Listeria, and the Integration of the Nation’s Food Safety System.
Rabbi Emanuel benefited greatly from the many workshops, meeting tens of professionals in the food safety field. MK is very well aware that the public is highly concerned about what they buy, be it fresh, frozen or canned food and are up to date with the latest ideas, trends and food safety measures. They then pass this on to the businesses certified by the MK.
Rabbi Emanuel attended the conference with Mrs. Danielle Medina of Food With A Conscience, and both returned to Montreal with new information and looking forward to future growth in this critical area.
