The Vaad has always been proud of its high standard of certification at meat establishments under their supervision. Fulltime Mashgichim are in attendance at meat facilities and they are trained in all aspects of supervision, specifically in the realms of deveining, Kashering and processing of Kosher meat.
Glatt's Self Serve, situated in the heart of Ville St. Laurent, on St. Louis street, has a fulltime Mashgiach, Mr. Joseph Mimran, who works in close conjunction with the owners, Mrs. Roth and her son-in-law, Mr. Avi Brook, operating Cote St. Luc Kosher Butcher. All the meat received by these establishments come from Shechita, controlled and certified by the Rabbis of the MK. The meat is carefully prepared under the close supervision of Mr. Mimran and Mrs. Roth's famous delectables have found their way into many houses, over many festivals, Shabbatot and Jewish Holidays.
In addition to the fulltime Mashgiach, regular inspections take place by the Vaad's inspector, Rabbi Chaim Klein, who ensures that all aspects of Kosher certification are constantly being monitored and maintained at this establishment and all others bearing MK certification.
Consumers feel comfortable knowing that the meat served at this butcher, is produced with the highest Kosher standards.
