Working in conjunction with US Customs & Border Protection, the Jewish Community Council of Montreal has solved the problem of frustrated travelers, traveling with lulav & esrog to the United States over Yom Tov. Thanks to the team at the Lacolle Border, agricultural specialists will be available during peak traveling times and have been fully briefed about the sensitivities required when checking the lulav & esrog. Travelers are required to declare these items and hand these over for an inspection. There should not be many delays with the extra staff at hand.
